Word for 2026

My best wishes to you for 2026. I hope the year has begun well and brings you everything you would wish for.

For the past 15 years, as a family we have shared a simple, yet treasured tradition. At the beginning of each year, we each choose and declare a word to support and shape the year ahead.

My word for 2026 is BETTER.

As 2025 came to an end, I asked my clients a simple question: what are you committed to being and doing better in 2026? It felt only right that I hold myself in the same question.

Personally, I commit to greater fulfilment in all relationships important to me by being a better partner to Kim, father to Lee and Guy, grandfather to Finn, brother, relative and friend.

Professionally, I commit to ensure all the leaders and teams I work with, have a better experience by being a better coach, facilitator, writer, speaker, listener, and learner.

At the end of each day, I will ask myself: What did I do today that I will do better tomorrow?

INVITATION

Do you have a word to guide you through 2026? If not, take this opportunity to:

  1. Decide on a word that matters to you.

  2. Declare it to those who matter most to you.

  3. Develop the practices that will turn your intentions into impact.

May you flourish in 2026.
